A Tribute to a Friend

Most of you all know that I moved about 4 months ago, out in God's Country and yes it is beautiful.  Well the lady that owns the land "Pat" had horses on this farm and we hit it off from the get go.  I would cook dinner and share with Pat once a week and she would do the same.  What started off as a friendship she quickly became family.  Pat made a statement one day that it seems like we known each other for ever and I agreed.  Well I wanted to show a few picks of her beautiful horses and such.  Why a tribute you might say because with this post is much sadness, Pat passed away on Monday which was a huge blow to allot of people.  She truly was a person that helped to make this world a better place and I will miss her terribly!  Run with the horses Pat!

Remember Me

A friend of mine "Linda" and I are working on a BOM together called "Remember Me".  We started in November so here is a pick of November and Decembers.  Now I will be embellishing with buttons and whatever else I want so if it looks a little naked it is because it needs to be added to later.  Now on the second block I do have to stitch it down yet.

Hey there

Yeah back on line.....  We have been moving for oh almost 2 months now and finally got back online.  We still have lots of boxes to empty ,  it is a slow process but one that can be done in time.  Wishing everyone a wonderful Fall and since I have moved to a place named Ooltewah, the native meaning is "Resting  Place" so I am hoping that we can settle down and enjoy it.  We are way out in the country and the property has 5 beautiful horses that are just like having kids.   And right out our front door you can see  the White Oak Mountaines, just awesome.  What pleasure they have already given us!.  Take care all and should be back online in at least a couple of weeks.....
