Good Tuesday Morning!

It has been longer than I thought since I have posted,  Thanks to everyone who has stuck with me.  I have been pretty busy getting the house settled and the M-i-L but see a clearing now but shhhhh I don't want to speak to soon.....lol  I have not really been able to spend too much time in my sewing room but have done a few things that I will post pictures of .  I hope to get in here much more now that things are starting to settle.
Chattanooga is hosting AQS  this September and I will talk about that more in another post but that puts all of us quilters here working on different projects to help  make this one of the best shows ever....
So for now here are a few little things I worked on to keep me sane during our recent move.  Please make it a wonderful day!!!1

I guess blogger added the photos the way they wanted and actually it is from oldest to the most recent.  These were ATC's I finished for Veronica's groups and the theme was words..
In our Chattanooga Modern Quilt guild we had a class on a "giganuous bag" and I know that is spelled wrong but let me say it is a very big bag and was  allot of fun to make.  There is a place on the internet with instructions and I will try to find it and get back to you if anyone is interested.

Also in CMQG I had the BOM and chose the wonky log cabin...it was fun to  make,  So now I add this to the wonky star and have 2 favorite fun blocks.  There is something about modern quilting that is "freeing" and I enjoy it.

These are the atc's that I done for March in Veronica's group and the theme was "Feet" so of course I choose to have that little penguin help me out....
I enjoyed posting again and hope to do it more often.  Thank you all so much for sticking with me....

Yeah we are in!!!!!

Good very early Morning to you all.  With this last storm that seemed to hit so many, I hope this note finds you all well and warm.  We are finally in and I can take a very early morning minute to say "hello" and thanks for sticking with me.
As you all are aware we have been through so many changes in a short period of time that I was having a time myself keeping it all together but we are finally in our new home and I still have tons of boxes to unpack but the major rooms (Kitchen and sewing room) are together...well still have a few boxes but getting closer than not.  Here are a few pics of the  new place and sewing room.  I think after this weekend I will  start a project I have been waiting to do and catch up on a few things that I have had waiting in the wings. Hope to be posting again very soon...take care and stay safe!

Since my M-i-L has come to live with us this house was perfect since it is handicap accessible already.  Which really comes in handy since my m-i-l is considered high risk for falls.  It has been almost 2 months since I have been with any of my quilty friends or guilds/groups all but one and I am missing them so very much...so after this weekend whether the house is all together or not I am getting back into what makes me happy...see you all soon!

Good Morning and updating

Just wanted to drop in and say Hello....Well I am well on my way  to having a full house of boxes.  Since the move is scheduled for the end of the month, I am in my sewing room and trying to get that finished up now.  It is hard for me myself to wrap around the thought of moving again but since we moved my mother-in-love  in this is just not a handicap friendly environment and that is what she definitely needs.  She has something   called Renauyds  syndrome and they are trying to find the right medications for her but anything she takes at this point will take a month to really work.  She cannot use a walker here since she cannot get around the boxes so the time for moving is now and they will be here on the 28th and 29th to do just that.  Not moving far just about 25 minutes away but it is handicap accessible and a beautiful location so all are happy in the end.  So I have managed to get a few things done but not much since this New Year started but hopefully changes are a coming.  Take care my friends and I will post when all is done.....I hope your New Year has started off on a wonderful note and all is well in your neck of the neighborhood.......

I hope everyone's New Year has been wonderful so far...

Just stopping in to say "Hello"  and hoping your 10 days into the New Year have been wonderful so far.  They have been very busy over here.  I am trying to learn windows 8 since Santa was wonderful to me and brought me a new computer for Christmas which I so appreciate but windows 8 was getting on my last nerve ...but it is getting a little better at the moment.  For those who do not know we have moved my M-i-Law in with us and we are all adjusting to that,,,  I do have a few things I have been working on but have to figure out how to get them into windows 8 so I can post them,  But a friend will be helping me on Monday so after that hopefully it will not be so hard for me to get around.  Take care of yourself and make it wonderful!
