On my stitchmap group there is a lady named Lyn who is putting together a replacement cq wedding quilt for a lady that she knows. Alot of us in the group offered to do a block to go into this quilt and I wanted to show you the beginning of mine I have only added lace and a bit of stitching but wanted to post the before so I can post the after, enjoy

Wish I would have know you were doing this. I just gave away 2 wedding dresses (one from each of my daughters) to the goodwill. You probably could have used the fabric in these, real high quality dresses. Your block looks beautiful. I should try CQing again, I'm getting bored with what I'm doing. I do want to see the progress on this block to give me inspiration
