The note

I forgot to add the note part.  I will be taking my computer to my son-in-law Jeremy on Sunday so he can help put me back together again...lol  Thank you Jeremy!  I really don't know how long it will take him but he is a wonderful son in law,  he has always treated us with respect and kindness and he is wonderful for my daughter,  they compliment each other very much.   I could not ask for anyone better!  And  when it comes to my computer he has always looked after it and  tried his best to give it back to me as soon as he can.  I will post when I am back on line.  Until then I hope you all have a wonderful day, time, week etc.....be good to one another!

The quilt auction

Well it has taken a little bit to get here but I wanted to let those that have been following me, in reference to my daughters quilt for her school auction,  it was a success.  The quilt was auctioned for $200.00 and we were very pleased about it......thanks to everyone that had any input and helped me when I was pulling my hair out...lol

Valentine's Day

Just wanted to share a pic of the roses my son and grandson bought me for Valentine's Day.  He is 8 now and getting so big.  Big hugs to you Dayton, grandmom loves you very much!

Scratch and baby Bella

I have a Siamese cat named Scratch and she is a wonderful cat but she got out one time and then you can guess what happened after that...Well I have already posted a pic of her but now she is getting bigger and I could not resist this picture...enjoy

Half way there

Well I just wanted to post a pic of the hands around the classroom quilt that I am doing for my daughter, Leigh-Anne's 2nd grade class.  We have been working on it since The end of January and she will need it by Monday the 22nd.  I am stitching in the ditch around the blocks and will do something with the borders at the end.  But I just wanted to post a pic for those that have been following me on this journey...enjoy

Our 3rd snow in Chattanooga & touching base

Well this year the weather has been weird all over.  This is our 3rd snow that has fallen and laid and we are expecting the rear of it to start tonight and  go thru tomorrow.  It has been lovely to see but keeps me house bound and that I do not like.  I am still having problems with my puter and hopefully Jeremy will have time for it soon.  It is really kind of being a stress-or now cause i am trying to work on my daughters school quilt and get it finished by Friday of this week but need to keep up to date with the things that I am involved with on the puter so hopefully soon...Speaking of the quilt you all have seen the beginnings of the quilt I am making for my daughters 2nd grade class for their auction and soon you will be able to see the end.  I was hoping to be done by Monday but found out since the hands are made with felt I cannot put it under the machine to do the stitch-in-the-ditch for quilting so now I have to hand quilt it but  it will probably take me the rest of the week...bummer but well worth it if everyone likes it....
Ok I am back and it only took 2x's to type up this note because my puter froze so I will be getting off but just wanted to post and let you all know that I am still here and kicking....talk to you all soon I hope...

Pansy Pincushion for Judy

I have a friend named Judy who is one of those people that have everything.  So what do you get that kind of person for her birthday?????  Well I happen to know that she loves anything home made.  What I did not know is that she loves pincushions.  So I just lucked out when I made her a pansy pincushion from hand dyed wool and grounded walnut shells.  Well when she opened it I could tell she just loved it and I felt wonderful..enjoy

Received post cards

In our CQI group we were having a NY/Valentine Day post card swap and here are pics of the 2 that I received.  Aren't they just lovely? The top one is from Debbie S and the bottom one is from  Maria if you think the pictures are beautiful you should see them in person..  Thank you Ladies they are just wonderful! enjoy
